FUNDACION CARTIF

CARTIF is a private, non-profit research institution located in Spain, dedicated to providing innovative solutions that enhance industrial processes, systems, and products. The institution engages in R&D projects financed by private companies and public grants, focusing on various sectors including energy, food, industry, construction, health, and the environment. As a multidisciplinary center, CARTIF addresses significant societal challenges such as Industry 4.0, smart cities, and circular economy initiatives. The center is certified under ISO 9001 and 14001, ensuring quality and environmental management in its operations. CARTIF also features an analytical testing laboratory that offers a wide range of services, including biomass characterization, food biotechnology, and material nanotechnology, supporting both internal projects and external clients.

In the IMPROVE project, CARTIF participates in WP3 by providing safety information on raw materials and final protein-rich ingredients, emphasizing quality real-time monitoring. Additionally, CARTIF contributes to WP6 through integration with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) to enhance accessibility and collaboration in scientific research.
