IMPROVE brings together 18 expert partners from 13 European countries to create new protein-rich foods from unconventional sources. The project includes a diverse group of organizations, each playing a key role:

Leading Research Organizations
like ENEA, CNR, UMINHO, and UOH, which are developing cutting-edge technologies and solutions for the food industry.

High-Tech SMEs
like ABT and VRLS, which provide expertise in areas like aquaculture and food technology.

Consulting Agencies
like AgC and IDE, which focus on sustainable development and ensuring that the solutions created are practical and impactful.

Social Impact Groups and Consumer Associations
like UNIWA, NDF, and CCA, which ensure that new food products meet the needs of consumers and society.

Market-oriented Partners
like GG and In.Bio, which help bring new products to the market.

Technology transfer Companies
like GOLEM, who specialize in sharing IMPROVE’s findings and building industry partnerships.

All partners will work together in WP1 on communication, stakeholder analysis, and ensuring the project’s results are shared effectively. They will also contribute to managing risk, quality, data, and ethical standards throughout the project. Together, this team aims to drive a sustainable transformation in food production to address food security, health, and environmental challenges.
