CONZORCIO PER l’INNOVAZIONNE E LA BIOECONOMIA

Consorzio per l’Innovazione e la Bioeconomia (In.Bio) is a private nonprofit research organization based in Rome, founded in 2006, originally as a consortium that included ENEA, CRAB, Eurogroup Consulting, and several others. In 2012, it shifted its focus to providing supportive technologies across multiple sectors, leveraging national and international funding for innovation. The consortium now consists of ENEA, Società Alleanza Ricerca Sviluppo Srl, and Inno AG.
In IMPROVE, In.Bio participates in WP1 by supporting dissemination, communication, exploitation, and quality assurance for value chain stakeholders in collaboration with GG. They also contribute to WP3, conducting flavor assessments and human panel food acceptability tests with UOH, and WP5, organizing training and capacity-building events for the agrifood sector. In WP6, In.Bio performs technical and economic evaluations of protein production cycles, aiming for energy efficiency and full material recovery.
