DTU

Founded in 1829 and located in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is a prestigious technical university known for its innovative and interdisciplinary approach to education. In the IMPROVE project, DTU participates in WP2, focusing on the fermentation of bacteria for bacteria-based protein production. This will involve optimizing Hydrogen-Oxidizing Bacteria (HOB) mixed cultures in bubble-free membrane bioreactors that are fed with residual nitrogen.
