PANEPISTIMIO DYTIKIS ATTIKIS – UNIVERSITY OF WEST ATTICA

The University of Western Attica (UNIWA), established in March 2018 from the merger of TEI Athens and AEI Piraeus Technological Sector, serves around 57,800 students across 27 departments within six faculties. It offers diverse undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs while emphasizing modern teaching methods and advanced infrastructure. UNIWA features numerous research laboratories that support educational and research initiatives, aiming to advance scientific inquiry across various fields. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, these labs enhance the quality of education and facilitate high-level research, all connected to GUNET (the Greek University Network).

The University of Western Attica (UNIWA) serves as the leader of WP5 in the IMPROVE project, focusing on investigating gender aspects and conducting behavioral interventions with healthcare professionals. Additionally, they develop a report based on a citizen satisfaction survey to assess public perceptions and experiences related to alternative proteins.
