CENTRALESUPELEC

CentraleSupélec (CS) is a French Engineering (Generalist) School (“Grande École”), being founder member of the Université Paris-Saclay (a top French University with 13% of national research and listed 12th in the world according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2024). Located across multiple campuses in the Paris region, Metz, Rennes, and Reims, it focuses on engineering and systems sciences. With a student body of approximately 4,200 and a faculty of 370, CentraleSupélec boasts a diverse international community, with 30% of its students and 24% of its faculty coming from abroad. The institution has a strong network of 176 partner universities and 140 corporate institutions, enabling significant collaboration in research and innovation.

CS coordinates the IMPROVE project, participating in WP1, WP2 and WP7. As the coordinator, they ensure the overall management, smooth execution, and alignment of all work packages. Leading WP1 and WP7, CS focuses on project administration and ethical issues. In WP2, CS will focus on extracting and functionalizing proteins from agro-industrial by-products using the extrusion technology, tus contributing to the project’s goals of sustainable protein production.
